Yes, this sort of thing has bothered me ever since I watch The Nutty Professor as a kid. I haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame, but fat jokes often come off as needlessly nasty (and a bit ridiculous considering more than two thirds of Americans are overweight and roughly one third of them are obese).
