This is 100% the Toronto experience, and me and my carless family always say thanks to the often-cranky bus driver (if we exit the front doors; let’s not get carried away here). I went to Seattle once and was blown away by the friendly bus driver who, when she couldn’t answer a how-to-get-there question, polled the entire bus to find out the answer (!) Always wondered if some cities give their drivers tourism/hospitality training.
