There’s a good exercise like this developed by MIT where the idea is you tell a robot how to make a peanut butter sandwich. The goal is to think all the steps through in a logical sequence (there are way more than you expect!) and it’s a way of teaching logic/computational thinking without actually introducing code. Someone even made it into a board game.
