Thanks for sharing your story! You touch on a lot of the same languages that shaped my growth as a programmer. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with JavaScript, but TypeScript is definitely a step in the right direction. I think even if you’re programming in plain JavaScript, using the stricter type checking of TypeScript (with the help of VS Code) makes a lot of sense. In fact, that’s what I’m teaching my kids for their first programming language!
