Thank you, Jun! I also want to add that it’s usually the adults that make kids concerned about otherwise normal activities that they don’t believe fits their kids “expected” gender (whether it’s boys playing princess dress-up or girls roughousing in the dirt). It can be awkward for the parents socially, but it’s not a good predictor of future gender identity or sexual orientation. If your child expresses to you that they don’t belong with their identified gender, they want to do remove their genitals, etc., these are obviously much more meaningful events.

I do want to write an article about gender roles and gender differences in the future.
