I had the same thought about erotica, lol. However the “2 minute reads” are probably going to suffer. Even if *you* lingered longer, I think that number is some sort of average calculated by Medium. (I notice my articles’ time-to-read changing after they’re published.) So it may be that the average reader time really is 2 minutes, possibly because a bunch of people decided it wasn’t for them and skipped down to the end. Who knows?
